From housewife to team leader: Payal's four years

We are careful about the stories we publish. This one is Payal's, in her own words first:

Hello I am Payal, I have joined Skill Ninja Academy in the year 2022 started my journey as Housewife learner and after completing my New Me Course, now I am Confident Skill Ninja Employee in the Sales and Marketing Department as an Assistant Team Leader.

She has been with us about two years now, on the other side of the classroom.

Why we tell this one often

Not because it is unusual — several of our trainers and team members started as students — but because of what it proves.

Any academy can say its course works. Very few hire their own graduates. When a company recruits from its own classrooms, it is making a claim it cannot fake: that the people it taught became good enough to employ.

Payal is that claim.

What actually changed

The English mattered, but the English was not the whole thing.

A woman who has been at home for several years is usually carrying a specific doubt — not can I learn this, but am I still someone who can be hired. Four months of speaking every day, in front of other people, in a language you were afraid of, answers that question in a way no certificate does.

By the time Payal finished the course, the English was solved. The bigger change was that she had spent months doing something difficult in public and not failing.

Her own advice

I must say all the women should enroll and become a new version of yourself.

We named the course New Me before we had students like her. She is the reason we kept the name.

You do not need to want a job to benefit from this. Most of our students want to talk to a teacher, a doctor, a customer, their own child.
