What actually happens in a free demo class

People hesitate to book a demo class because they don't know what they are agreeing to. Fair enough. Here is the whole hour, described honestly.

Before it starts

You message us on WhatsApp and pick a time — 12:30, 3:30 or 5:30. We send you a link. You join from your phone. No laptop, no app to buy, no forms.

You can keep your camera off if you want to. Many women do on the first day. Nobody minds.

The first ten minutes

You watch. That is all. A real batch is running, with real students at your level, and you see how the class actually works — the trainer asking questions, students answering, mistakes being corrected gently.

Most people relax in this part. Not because the class is impressive, but because they see other women speaking imperfectly and nothing bad happening to them.

The middle

The trainer speaks with you for a few minutes. Simple questions: your name, where you live, what you do at home or at work.

This is not a test. There is no pass mark and no score. She is listening for where to place you — whether you should start at Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 of the New Me course. Getting this right matters more than anything else. A woman placed too high spends four months quietly lost. Placed too low, she gets bored.

The end

You get a straight recommendation: this level, these timings, this is what it costs.

We do not ask for payment details in the demo. You take the information home, talk to your family, and decide. If you want to think about it for two weeks, think about it for two weeks. The demo runs every day.

What to do beforehand

Nothing. Do not prepare. Do not practise sentences. Do not look up vocabulary.

The whole point is for the trainer to hear your English as it is today, so she puts you in the right place. Preparing is the one thing that makes the demo less useful.

The only thing worth knowing

Almost everyone is nervous before their first demo and almost nobody is nervous by the end of it. The hour is designed for the woman who is certain she cannot do this.
